HELLHOUND RECORDS / SOUTHERN LORD
Saint Vitus are one of the best and most legendary of traditional doom metal bands. But don't let the term doom metal stop you from listening to them: actually they sound like Black Sabbath mixed with Hippy/Stoner Rock, that is, mostly 70's heavy metal with Southern Rock influence. Wino is great in your last St. Vitus studio album as on all his work, my favorite songs is Living Backwards and I Bleed Black, like me much also When Emotion Dies. The album's title is a reference to the Roman numeral five, not the letter "V" from the English alphabet.
Re-released CD by Southern Lord in 2004, including live video from the first show
with Wino: Live @ The Palm Springs Community Center, 16 May 1986.
