M+M RECORDS
In contrast to the Neat and Ebony labels, who tended to favour unknown, grass-roots level acts, the Midlands-based Heavy Metal Records frequently (particular for use on their compilation) picked up on those who had previously released their own product.
This was the case with London's METAL MIRROR, who, like EXPOZER, OVERKILL, NO FAITH and PERSIAN RISK (all of whom had issued a private single before-hand), were afforded the opportunity to lay down one of their numbers for use on the famous pair of "Heavy Metal Heroes" samplers.
