TREAT - Scratch and Bite (1985/2008) SWE

MERCURY/POLYGRAM RECORDS
Treat started out in 1982 as rock band with Swedish lyrics until drummer Mats Dalton Dahl joyned them in 1983. They recorded a demo for Polygram, who were looking for a Swedish hard rock band as a counterpart to Europe and signed them in 1984. One year later "Scratch And Bite" got released in 1985 and carried such great AOR tunes as "Scratch And Bite", "Get You On The Run", "Hidin’" and the killer ballad "We Are One". This album is one of my favourite AOR/Melodic.

TREAT - Dreamhunter (1987) SWE

POLYGRAM RECORDS
This is where the party really started! From the instant the brilliant "Sole Survivor" hits the speakers you know you've found a golden nugget. The most perfectly excecuted verses ever are then heard in "Take Me On Your Wings". "Best of Me" is a great ballad, "Dancin' on the Edge" is melodic bliss and every other track after and inbetween is a great melodic rocker. "Tush" is ordinary and very different from the rest of the material, but this is truly an excellent album.
